The secret doctrine stipulates that those with eyes to see worship the sign opposite to the one considered in effect by the populace.

Think of the zodiac wheel - the sun "dwells" in the house of one sign (the esoteric) and shines its long rays into the house of the sign worshiped by the masses (the exoteric) directly opposite on the wheel.

It is valid to say that what you observe is a combination of the coming of this change - to Leo and Aquarius. Aquarius for the masses, Leo for the wise. Understanding this and its implications will allow those that interpret events using astrological systems to make better sense of what is happening.
