The indweller (draSTaa: näkijä) is pure conciousness only (dRshi- maatraH: "vain" Näkeminen), which though pure (shuddhaH; api), sees through the mind (pratyaya-anupashyaH) and is identified by ego as being the mind (kääntäjän kommentinomainen lisäys). tadartha eva dRishyasyaatmaa .. 21.. (tadarthaH; eva dRishyasya+aatmaa .. 21..) The very existence of the seen is for the sake of the seer. kRtaarthaM prati naSTam apyanaSTtaM tadanyasaadhaaraNatvaat 22.. (kRta-artham; prati naSTam api; anaSTtam; tad-anya -saa_dhaaraNatvaat 22..) Although Creation is discerned as not real for the one who has achieved the goal, it is yet real in that Creation remains the common experience of others. |
