Jeesus Nasaretilaisen monet uskovat luuhanneen Intiassa melko huomattavan
osan maallisesta vaelluksestaan. Koska Patañjalin katsotaan monien taholta
eläneen n. 200 eKr, hänen joogafilosofiansa oli ilmeisesti vielä aika hip silloin
kuin Jesse mahdollisesti oleili Intiassa.

Mahdolliselta PJ-gurultaan Hän ilmeisesti
oppi mm. kävelemään vetten päällä ja muuttamaan veden viiniksi sekä ruokkimaan
5000 henkeä muutamalla kalalla ja leivän kannikalla.

Näyttää siltä, että Jeshua ben Josif ei ole ainoa juutalainen joka on digannut Patañjalista.
Viimemainitun yoga-suutra pläjäykseen perustuvat mm. Transsendenttisen Meditaation (R)
ns. siddhitekniikat.  Tässä TM-liikkeen uuden johtoryhmän kokoonpano. Ainakin kolme
nimistä vaikuttaa juutalaisilta (Feldman, Kaplan, Rubin):
