Me: Sometimes I really want to change something about myself but I just can't. The pull to do something I don't want to do or act in a way I don't want to act is too strong.
I can't make seem to make the choices I want to make*.
Monk: Every choice in life is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One represents anger, envy, greed, fear, lies, insecurity and ego. The other represents peace, love, compassion, kindness, humility and positivity. They are both competing for supremacy.
Me: Who wins the battle for supremacy?
Monk: The one you feed
Me: How do we feed them?
Monk: By what we read and hear. By who we spend time with. By what we do with our time. By where we focus our energy and attention. By what we give focus to.
