"Hey Wiza.
Though I disagree about a number of aspects of the "Hidden Agenda of the Dreamspell" I agree that they are interesting articles, and that it's probably a good thing to have alternative viewpoints.
The Dreamspell, as I've attempted to make clear many times before, is not the Mayan Calendar. My friend Eden, writes about this in an article at 13moon.com
http://www.13moon.com/not_the_mayan_calendar.htmA friend of mine recently visited the Mayan communities of Guatemala, and attended a session with a traditional Mayan priest. She returned with a fascinating book called Time and the Highland Maya, which gave some great insights into how the traditional count is used within the communities there. If you're really interested in the traditional Mayan calendar, I strongly recommend it.
For example, particular days on the count are seen as good days for particular ceremonies, and depending on your position in the community, you might make a trek into the mountains on a particular date relative to the Tzolkin, etc.
The application of the Dreamspell is however a little different - it's purpose is really to precipitate the next stage of our spiritual evolution - the leap from the biosphere (the sphere of life on the planet) to the Noosphere (the mental sphere or envelope of the planet).
The codes and symbols of the Dreamspell, are the means by which we synchronise in time, and act as a "tuning fork" by which we can "tune" into the Noosphere, and that higher collective level of perception. The activation of the Noosphere, implies a whole-systems based, telepathic means of knowing.
Nick"
