Gary Moore kuulunut suosikkeihini kauan ja jostain syystä biisi; Empty Rooms on viime vuosina "kolahtanut".. :
Sanoja en löydä ja muistikin pätkii..

Minä olen siitä erikoinen persoona, etten anna yleensäkään painoarvoa lyriikoille. Tykkään kuunnella kappaleita, joiden sanoituksista en joko saa selvää tai en ymmärrä niitä (esim. espanjalaista tai japanilaista musiikkia). Minulle on niin tärkeää saada kuunnella vain laulajan äänen väriä.

Yksi poikkeus tästä kuitenkin löytyy, nimittäin Ajattara. Suomalainen metallibändi, joka on kirjoittanut kaikki lyriikansa vanhaan suomalaiseen manausmuotoon (Ajattara itsessään oli paha suomalainen naishenki, joka eksytti miehet metsiin). Ne sanat ovat vain niin maagisia ja täysin käsittämättömiä välillä, että mielikuvitukseni alkaa laukata. Esimerkkinä vaikka lausahdus "raatokarja kusta kehräs" - mitä se oikeastaan edes tarkoittaa?

Tässä suosikkini Ajattaralta, Manan Lapset. Aika synkät sanat, mutta kierolla tavalla minua viehättää juuri se, että tolkullisella tavalla noissa ei ole mitään tolkkua!
